Bocce Questions

Okay, I am going to try this again. I am looking for some memory assistance [no old age jokes] with remembering who won Bocce and who placed 2nd, since the first year it was introduced into the Foss Family Christmas. You may remember I posted this earlier in the year on the Foss Fridge, but nobody responded to my questions! Can you help and confirm these are correct and fill in the blanks? Thanks!

2003 ~ Ashley & Kevin.

Who was in the championship round? Grandma & Grandpa? I have no photos on my computer (because it crashed in '05). Does anyone have photos?

Calvin's Baptism

Taylor and Leslie had Calvin baptized and

dedicated to God this past Sunday.

Happy Halloween!

Guess who loved their first Halloween?! hehe. Calvin is dressed as Max from the book (and movie) Where The Wild Things Are. My mom made that costume...amazing! Hobbes is dressed as a Wild Thing. It was also a celebration of Hobbes 1st birthday! Pretty good sized 1 year old, eh?

He's standing!! Well, with the assistance of Buster's hand behind that blanket.

He also looked really cute from the back. :-) Taylor said it was like hugging a muppet.

Not that anyone cares about the old folks, but we did dress up too! We are Mr. Green and Miss Scarlett from Clue. I'm holding poison and a candlestick and Taylor has a wrench and a revolver. We were ready for action!

We had a really fun halloween. We went trick or treating with the neighborhood kids and then to a party one of the parents threw at their house. It was a lot of fun getting to know our neighbors and seeing all the adorable costumes. We are lucky there there are so many nice people living nearby and lots of little tykes for Calvin to play with!

4 Generations of Foss

After taking photos of these four Foss gentlemen, the above photo spontaneously came together, when Tom and then Great Grandpa stepped in behind Taylor and Calvin. 

Trip to Montana

Rob fished. We slept in a teepee, photographed the wild Pryor Ponies and visited Marvel's homestead and log house in Deadman's Canyon, now Bighorn National Recreation Area. Good times!

Calvin Llewellyn Foss

A new member of the ever growing Foss Family: Calvin Llewellyn Foss!  Great Grandparents, Grandparents, and Parents are all very delighted!

We just got Wyatt his first bicycle! No more tricycle for this 4 year old!

A Day at the Beach

We arranged a play date for Hobbes and Phoebe at the beach this week.

We taught Hobbes how to levitate. I mean I don't want to brag or anything, but that's way cooler than "roll over".

Orlene's Boysenberry Pie Recipe

With fresh boysenberrie's from Stancie's yard, I used Grandma's pie recipe and attempted to master baking a pie. Though I don't know what it was supposed to look like, I presume Grandma's pies were better looking and of course better tasting.  But, I will keep trying.

1st Fish

Not near as cool as Uncle Rob's fishing trip but Wyatt (and Gerrit) sure had fun catching their first fish!

Govinator comes to Calabasas

I know this is an everyday event for Tom Foss, but it was a unique day at CHS . (And you can all imagine how I feel about him right now with all the cuts to education....) But what a great teachable moment for students to be a part of a press conference and to meet the Governor of California.

Remember when the electric boat ran ashore Newport Island? These photos made me smile. Hope you recall the lovely moments that ensued. And Grandma and Grandpa monitored ....

Kevin Rocks the 9 am Service

Kevin played bass on Memorial Day at the 9 am Bel Air Pres service. Nice.
